A thesaurus is a writer's friend. The one I use is here. Remember, though, it only responds to US spelling.
You'll also need a good dictionary. I use Oxford Online.
If you're writing erotica, you'll find a thesaurus of sexual terms handy. Check this one out.
The Romance Genre
A couple of wonderful romance writers' organisations are the Romance Writers of Australia and the Romance Writers of New Zealand.
The Romance Writers of America is also a great resource.
The Australian Romance Readers Association is a wonderful readers' group that holds regular get-togethers in major centres, booksignings and a biennial conference. If you love reading romance, this is the group for you.
Publisher Sites
Carina Press: Where no great story goes untold. This is where you'll find Three Over Par.
Samhain Publishing is my publisher for Ritual Passion. You'll find their site packed with great reads.
Other Handy Sites
The Australian Society of Authors offers, among other things, a contract assessment service as well as a mentorship program. Well worth joining.
Each Australian state has its own writers' centre. The NSW Writers' Centre can be found here.
